The Musician

Brett is a senior in high school, but to look at him and talk to him, you’d think he was in his twenties.  Brett is a musician, laidback, and wasn't really into the formality of your typical senior portraits.  He wanted two things:  a picture with Cincinnati in the background and pictures with his guitar.  We did both, but started with Brett playing a little impromptu jam session.  From what I could hear, he is an accomplished guitar player.  He plays guitar for the band One More Go.  Brett played his first show with the band, this past Sunday, and had shared how nervous he was.  Judging from how he played in front of me, he had nothing to be nervous about.  Check out Brett’s band One More Go on Facebook and MySpace.

B-E-A -utiful!

Okay, I literally squealed with excitement, when I looked at these photos.  I just couldn’t believe how lucky I was to have gotten the chance to take this gorgeous young lady’s senior pictures.

When I spoke to Katie’s stepmom about a location for her portraits, she said that Katie wanted something pretty.  I took Katie to my favorite local park, Alms Park.  It’s exactly what I would call “pretty”.  However, the beauty of the photos had nothing to do with the location.  Katie was the star.  Despite the cold weather, she managed to put on a smile that would warm up the coldest of days.   Thanks so much for choosing me. :)

My favorite photo of the day!

Baby Chloe

Oh the precious baby Chloe.  Chloe’s mom wanted “naked baby pics”, so I told her to make sure her house was nice and toasty to be sure that little Chloe didn’t get cold.  Chloe’s mom, Nikki, Aunt Gina, and myself, were nice and toasty . . . and sweaty by the end of the session.  However, Chloe was nice and cozy and happy.  Chloe’s big brother Colton joined in on the fun too.  She was just so darn cute.  It got me started thinking about having another one.  ;)

Now and Then with Noah

It’s hard to believe that it was about this time last year that I took pictures of little Noah Cline.  He was only a few weeks old and it was about that time that I really started to educate myself about photography.  Angie and Jerry were kind enough to allow me to stretch my photographic legs, so to speak, with the help of little Noah.  So when they asked me to take Noah’s 1 year pictures, I was pumped.  I had a great time, at Devou Park, watching Noah play and spend some quality time with his Mommy and Daddy.
